High Flux Telescope
This data set contains ion flux data recorded by the COSPIN High Flux Telescope (HFT) during the Ulysses Jupiter encounter 1992-Jan-25 to 1992-Feb-18.
Data for there are two different types of data file provided for this data set. Files following the naming convention CORHFTdd.TAB (where dd = day of 1992) contain corrected 'deadtimes'. Files following the naming convention T92ddd (where ddd = day of 1992) contain 'raw' data, or data for which deadtimes have not been corrected. These corrections to the deadtimes are provided for days 038-039 (the days of closest approach) because the deadtime parameter in the 'raw' data files does not correct for electronic deadtime at high counting rates.

There are two types of files on this directory: "corrected" files and
"raw" files. These files are named according to one of the following
conventions:
corrected:
CORHFTdd.TAB
where dd = the day of the year 1992 covered by the file.
raw:
Tyyddd.TAB
where yy = the last two digits of the year ('92' for 1992)
ddd = the day of the year covered by the file
