There two playback anomalies in this sequence. The PBT Duplicate Segment ID Anomaly (ISA 10372) was discovered on 97-267. Playback stopped because Segment 2 of PBT.C10PFE had the same SEQ ID as the previous Segment 2 from the Continuous Search anomaly in C09C (PBT.C09PJC). New playback tables were generated and normal operations were restored. Later in C10B NIMS Rate Control was accidentally initiated in the playback table (ISA 10372). Following this observation the NIMS playback editor did not return to a normal mode which caused the NIMS data to over-compress and significantly corrupted data quality. Real time commands were sent on 97-294 to patch the NIMS playback editor. Real time commands were also sent to troubleshoot the PWS wideband B antenna which failed during the C10 encounter period (ISA 10810). A calibration of the high frequency range of the antenna was performed and then the operating mode of the instrument was changed on 97-277 from the standard mode of cycling between the E and B antennas to the E antenna only. Several requests were made by other projects for DSN station coverage. A Mars Global Surveyor emergency took GLL tracking on 97-269/270 and Mars Pathfinder took DSS 43 on 97-274, 275 and 276. Playback was paused for the MGS station loss and telemtry was overridden with FILL data for the Pathfinder losses. This release package includes the following: 1.
