Venus Express Cleaned 128 Hz Fluxgate Magnetometer Data

Overview

This data bundle contains cleaned 128 Hz magnetic field data from the
Venus Express mission's fluxgate magnetometer (MAG). At this resolution,
only the raw data are publicly available and they exist in the ESA
Planetary Science Archive (PSA).

document: Documents pertaining to the description of this bundle.
- data-available: ASCII table that lists the availability of the three
relevant data sets: cleaned 128 Hz data, raw 128 Hz data, and
calibrated 1 Hz data. The first set is the data contained in this
bundle and the two latter sets exist in PSA. The table covers
2006-04-26 through 2014-11-25. The start and stop times of the
corresponding file are also listed.
- data-desc: This document describes the data cleaning procedure,
relevant coordinate systems, related data sets, and the parameters
in the data files.
- data-errata: An in exhaustive list of unusual behavior in the data.
- Zhang_2007_MAG-The_Fluxgate_Magnetometer_of_Venus_Express: Instrument
paper for the acquired data used to produce the cleaned data product.
