Cassini Plasma Spectrometer (CAPS) Calibrated Data Bundle readme

Introduction

This Bundle contains data from the Cassini Orbiter Cassini Plasma Spectrometer
(CAPS) calibrated data set. This includes the following data products:
Electron Spectrometer data (ELS)
Ion Beam Spectrometer data (IBS)
Ion Mass Spectrometer ion data (ION)
Ion Mass Spectrometer singles data (SNG)
Ion Mass Spectrometer 'time of flight' linear electric field data
(TOFLEF),
Ion Mass Spectrometer 'time of flight' straight through data
product (TOFST).
Data coverage includes 2004-001 (Jan 1) to 2012-154 (Jun 2).
This Bundle is intended for the use of scientists and students in the study
of solar wind and planetary energetic and neutral particles. The data may be
used for research and publication.
This Bundle complies with Planetary Data System 4 (PDS4) standards.

This Bundle was produced for the Planetary Data System (PDS) at the Planetary
Plasma Interactions (PPI) node. The data and associated metadata were produced
by Dr. Robert Wilson and provided by Judy Furman of the Cassini CAPS team at
the South West Research Institute in San Antonio, TX. The Bundle was assembled
at the PPI node by Joseph N. Mafi.
