This data bundle contains magnetic field KT17 model residuals (DELTA_B), which represent the difference between the magnetic field observed by the MESSENGER Magnetometer (MAG) and the modeled magnetic field computed from the Korth et al. [2017] magnetospheric magnetic field model. This includes the generation, validation, and storage of the Reduced Data Record (RDR) data products, including the file naming and format conventions. ReleaseNotes - A text files that describes the various DELTA_B RDR data product releases. data-sci-mbf: A collection of DELTA_B RDR data products in the Mercury Body Fixed (MBF) coordinate system. Data are stored as ASCII tables. data-sci-mso: A collection of DELTA_B RDR data products in the Mercury Solar Orbital (MSO) coordinate system. Data are stored as ASCII tables.
