  Collection Overview

    This collection contains contains calibration data files for calibrating 
    the raw FGM and VHM MAG data files provided in this bundle. These data   
    files are required for the calibration software.                         
                                                                             
    Each data file contains calibration information as a function of time,   
    and that indicates which calibration data values (offsets and sensitivity
    matrices) are to be applied to raw VHM or FGM data, according to its time
    of origin. These files are required as an input for the CAL02.EXE        
    application.                                                             
                                                                             
    The following is an example of how a calibration file would be used.     
    The user guide giving a full description of the implementation and       
    operation of the software package that use calibration files is contained
    in the document collection in the cassini-mag-cal bundle. The guide is   
    the 'Cassini MAG Data Processing Software: CAL02 User Guide' by Joyce
