Collection =============================================================================================== This collection contains Cassini magnetic-field 1 minute averages in KRTP coordinates. KRTP coordinates are the standard right-handed spherical triad: R (Saturn to spacecraft), Phi (parallel to Saturn's equator), and Theta (completes right handed set). Cassini MAG Calibrated 1 Min. Avg. Data in KSM Coords. Collection =============================================================================================== This collection contains Cassini magnetic-field 1 minute averages in KSM coordinates. KSM coordinates consist of X (Saturn to Sun), Z (X-Z plane contains Saturn's centered magnetic dipole axis, M), and Y (completes right handed set). Cassini MAG Calibrated 1 Min. Avg. Data in KSO Coords. Collection =============================================================================================== This collection contains Cassini magnetic-field 1 minute averages in KSO coordinates. KSO coordinates consist of X (Saturn to Sun), Z (parallel to Saturn's orbital plane upward normal), and Y (completes the right handed set). Cassini MAG Calibrated 1 Min. Avg. Data in RTN Coords. RTN coordinates consist of R (radial component, Sun to the spacecraft), T (tangential component, parallel to the Solar Equatorial plane and perpendicular to R), and N (normal component, completes right handed set). Collection =============================================================================================== This collection contains Cassini magnetic-field 1 second averages, in GSE coordinates, from the Fluxgate Magnetometer (FGM) instrument. GSE coordinates consist of X (Earth to Sun), Y (completes the right handed set), and Z (perpendicular to the ecliptic plane). Cassini MAG Calibrated 1 Sec. Avg. Data in J3 Coords. Collection =============================================================================================== This collection contains Cassini magnetic-field 1 second averages in J3 coordinates. J3 (IAU_JUPITER) is a Jovicentric cartesian coordinate system consistent with the IAU 1997 definition of the System 3 prime meridian. Cassini SPICE Metakernel Collection =============================================================================================== This collection contains SPICE metakernels which in turn list the SPICE kernels which were used in processing the data contained in this bundle. This is a PDS4 archive of the following PDS3 data sets: CO-E/SW/J/S-MAG-3-RDR-CALIB-SHM-V2.0 (https://doi.org/10.17189/1519600) CO-E/SW/J/S-MAG-3-RDR-FULL-RES-V2.0 (https://doi.org/10.17189/1521151) CO-E/SW/J/S-MAG-4-SUMM-1MINAVG-V2.1 (https://doi.org/10.17189/5rhj-sm88) CO-E/SW/J/S-MAG-4-SUMM-1SECAVG-V2.0 (https://doi.org/10.17189/1519603) These data collections were originally archived under PDS3 in the COMAG_3001, COMAG_4001 and COMAG_4002 volumes. Under the PDS3 standard all archives were self contained and could in principle be stored in a single file system (disk, CD-ROM, etc.). PDS4 takes advantage of the network capabilities that allow archives to be distributed. As a result, some of the documents and metadata previously stored in the PDS3 catalog files are no longer maintained locally, but are maintained in a central repository. Those files are referenced by unique PDS logical identifiers that are included in the document collection inventory. Errata ====== An errata file was included with some issues discovered during migration. Every effort has been made to insure that the data are of the best quality available. However, users are encouraged to verify the correctness of the data prior to submitting any publications or other work based on these data and report any issues to PDS/PPI.
