Voyager 2 Cosmic Ray Subsystem (CRS)

This directory provides charged particle data collected from the Cosmic Ray Subsystem (CRS) during the Voyager 2 Jupiter encounter between 7/3/79 and 8/3/79. There are 9 types of data product associated with different telescope categories, detector combinations, and energy ranges. They provide particle flux and counting rate for proton, ion, and electron measurements. LD_RATE.TAB, LD1_RATE.TAB, LDTRP_RATE.TAB, D4L_RATE.TAB, BS2E_RATE.TAB, BS3E_RATE.TAB, and BS4E_RATE.TAB, provide 15 min data for time period of 7/3/79-8/3/79. LD2_RATE.TAB contains 15 min data for 7/3/79-7/13/79. The FPHA_RATE.TAB instead has 1 hour pulse-height data for 7/3/79-8/3/79. Jupiter has a spin period of 10 hours.
