Pioneer 10 Solar Ecliptic and Jupiter System III Coordinates for the 1973
Jupiter Encounter

Date Coverage: 1973-11-26 to 1973-12-31

Data Format:

YYYY FDOY SRANGE SECLAT SECLON PRANGE PEQLAT PEQLON

YYYY= 4-digit year
FDOY= fractional day of year (1.5 = Jan. 1 at 1200 SCUT)
SRANGE= sun-spacecraft distance in km
SECLAT,SECLON= solar ecliptic latitude and longitude (true equinox and
               ecliptic of date) in degrees
PRANGE= planet-spacecraft distance in km
PEQLAT,PEQLON= planetocentric, planet-fixed latitude and longitude
               (System III for Jupiter) in degrees

Data Source:

These data were extracted from NSSDC dataset 72-012A-00H for the Pioneer 
10 encounter with Jupiter in Dec. 1973. On-line Data and documentation 
for this mission data set is in subdirectory MISSION. The code 
READ_JUP.FOR was used for the extraction.
