     This file contains an accumulation of corrections and notes for the     
Mars Global Surveyor Solar Conjunction Raw Data Archive.                     
                                                                             
Error/Variance Description

The ASCII versions of the DSN monitor data files in the MCH directories      
contain null values (i.e. no value present in some columns).  This is not    
compliant with the PDS TABLE object standards.                               
                                                                             
The file DATA/MCT/DSS0186A.MCT is empty.  The the label file says it should  
contain 0 file records.

CORRECTIONS AND NOTES

ODR/*.LBL in the release of July 3 2001 contained incorrect                  
entries for START_TIME, STOP_TIME  and PRODUCT_CREATION_TIME.                
These errors were corrected in the release of September 4, 2001.             
                                                                             
                                                                             
INDEX/INDXINFO.TXT was missing. This file was included in the                
release of September 4, 2001.                                                
                                                                             
  Non-Standard Practices                                                     
The PDS standards do not specify where to store the required MD5 checksum    
file for a volume.  We have placed it in the root dircetory of the volume    
with the file name "CHECKSUMS.TXT".  This may be considered invalid by some  
verifiers.
