END_OBJECT = TEXT END ERRATA This file contains a list of all deficiencies and irregularities that are known to exist at the time of the publication date above. Any errors detected with this volume will be published on subsequent volumes in this volume set. The Level 2 data here starts at version 02, rather than version 01. The first reason is that the JAD_HRS_ION_TOF_yyyyddd_V01 data was incorrectly decoded from the spacecraft packets, and did not give usable data. This issue was incorrect documentation that said the spacecraft packet was decoded with details 'a' when it should have been details 'b'. The decoding code provided to the team did not error on this issue (b was exactly half a, therefore it simply thought there was twice as much data to decode) and it was not until High Voltage Check Out #2 in Jan 2014 that we took JAD_HRS_ION_TOF data and examined it. It immediately looked very wrong and an investigation lead to the wrong decode details being found. This was corrected in V02, and now the data is beautiful and scientifically useful. All other data products were also examined during that check out and were found to be as expected. The second reason is that a new object in the format was added between V02 and V01 for all files. In V01 there was no SCLKSCET_VERSION kernel, but we realized this was important to keep track of, so was added to all products in V02. This was not an error, but a later addition. All flight data up to and including January 2014 was re-processed to V02, as such we see no need for anyone to ever use V01 data, and therefore are not including it in the PDS archive. NOTE 2023-10-12: Instrument name corrected to be INSTRUMENT_NAME = JOVIAN AURORAL DISTRIBUTIONS EXPERIMENT Instead of INSTRUMENT_NAME = JOVIAN AURORAL PLASMA DISTRIBUTIONS EXPERIMENT (without PLASMA).
