Trigger 32 Description

Sequence: C19,...
Trigger 32 ( 8 MHz HF-WBR )

This trigger is designed to produce High-Frequency (HF) Wideband Receiver data at 8 MHz. Data acquisition continues only for the MFR. The HFR is placed in millisecond mode at 8 MHz during this trigger's operation. This trigger turns on compression of the WBR data, and sets the snapshot length to 2048 samples. The HFR millisecond mode sample set size is set to 2048. Once per minute, for a period of 10 seconds, the WBR is paused, and the millisecond mode of the HFR is also paused, while the HFR does a single spectrum in the composite mode survey (CMS), described below.

Receiver Frequency Range Sensor Time between Snapshots Samples per Snapshot
MFR 25 Hz - 12 KHz EX, BZ 32 seconds
HFR 8.025 MHz EX 2.5 seconds 2048
WBR 8.01-8.04 MHz EX 0.125 second 2048

Once per minute the HFR is allowed 10 seconds to do an analysis in the so-called composite mode survey mode. This mode is defined by:
