This directory contains 5 types of 96 second ion and electron data from
the Plasma experiment on Voyager 2 from the Jupiter encounter. The data
are provided as 6 ASCII tables, each accompanied by a PDS label (.LBL)
which describes properties of the data file. Data file details are as
the following:
(1) ELE_MOM.TAB, electron moment data covering the period of
1979-07-06 to 1979-07-09;
(2) ION_MOM.TAB, ion moment data covering the period of 1979-07-04
to 1979-07-10;
(3) Inbound magnetosheath L-mode ion data,
SHEATH_L_MODE_I.TAB, covering the period of
1979-07-02 to 1979-07-05;
SHEATH_L_MODE_II.TAB, covering the period of
1979-07-23 to 1979-08-12;
(4) SHEATH_M_MODE.TAB, outbound magnetosheath M-mode ion data
covering the period of 1979-07-23 to 1979-08-10;
(5) SWIND.TAB, inbound solar wind ion data covering the period of
1979-06-25 to 1979-07-05.
