PDS_VERSION_ID = PDS3 RECORD_TYPE = STREAM OBJECT = TEXT PUBLICATION_DATE = 2006-11-02 NOTE = " EXTRINFO.TXT describes the contents of this directory." END_OBJECT = TEXT END This directory contains files associated with extra functionality beyond PDS archiving requirements which we hope will be useful but are not subject to PDS standards. The primary available feature is a Graphical Data Browser Index implemented as an HTML file, BROWSE.HTM, along with associated HTML imagemap and JavaScript source files. Taking advantage of the user's native web browser, this feature presents a list of time intervals included on individual "contact sheets" containing miniature versions of frequency-time spectrograms of all the data contained in this volume. These contact sheets are useful for browsing long time periods to search for large-scale features or to determine if data are available during a specific time of interest. Using a sufficiently enabled web browser, the user can click on one of the small spectrograms to obtain a full-resolution spectrogram with options to view the associated label file, save the binary waveform file, or launch an interactive analysis application.
