END_OBJECT = TEXT END The /DOCUMENT directory contains 15 user sub-directories each containing documents relevant to the Ulysses mission, instruments, data, or other aspects related to this volume. For more information about the contents of a specific sub-directory, please refer to the /DOCUMENT directory tree structure diagram provided below. An ASCII text version with all graphics removed (file extension .ASC) is provided for every document. An HTML version with tables and figures embedded in the document (file extension .HTM) is provided for all of the Astronomy and Astrophysics Supplement Series Ulysses Instruments Special Issue. Scanned images of figures and tables in Graphics Interchange Format (GIF89A, file extension .GIF) are included both for use with the HTMLs and with graphics viewers. The naming convention for GIF the images is FIGxx.GIF or TABxx.GIF where xx is the number assigned to the figure or table number in the original document. Exceptions to this convention are described in the individual sub-directories. The viewability of some of these images may depend significantly upon the operating system and the viewer used to view them. Specifically, they are best viewed on a color monitor. While most of the documents are reproduced in their entirety, others include only the pages or sections appropriate to this archive. /DOCUMENT directory tree structure: [DOCUMENT] | |- DOCINFO.TXT (this file) describes contents of the /DOCUMENT | directory tree | |- DOCINFO.LBL PDS label for DOCINFO.TXT | |- [COSPIN] contains copies of the Ulysses CRS investigation | | (COSPINST) description | | | |- [KET] contains copies of the Ulysses COSPIN/KET instrument | |- [DDS] contains copies of the Ulysses DDS instrument | description | |- [EPAC] contains copies of the Ulysses EPAC investigation | description (EPACINST) | |- [GAS] contains copies of the Ulysses GAS investigation | description (GASINST) | |- [GRB] contains copies of the Ulysses GRB investigation | description (GRBINST) | |- [GWE] contains copies of the Ulysses GWE investigation | description (GWEINST) | |- [HISCALE] contains copies of the Ulysses HISCALE investigation | description (HISCINST) and portions of the HISCALE | Data Analysis Handbook (HISCDATA) | |- [MAG] contains copies of the Ulysses MAG investigation | (MAGINST) and data set (MAGDS) descriptions | |- [MISSION] contains copies of the Ulysses mission description | (MISSION) | |- [SCE] contains copies of the Ulysses SCE investigation | description (SCEINST) | |- [SPICE] contains a description of the NAIF SPICE System (SPICE) | |- [SWICS] contains copies of the Ulysses SWICS investigation | description (SWICINST) | |- [SWOOPS] contains copies of the Ulysses SWOOPS investigation | description (SWOOINST) | |- [URAP] contains copies of the Ulysses URAP investigation | description (URAPINST) | |- [SOFTDOCS] contains descriptions of software included on this | volume (SPLASH) | |- [SYMBOLS] contains GIF89A images of characters not supported by HTML (e.g. Greek characters, mathematical symbols, etc.).
