This directory contains the original instrument description and initial 
observations paper. This file is available in ASCII. Figures referenced in
the document is available in GIF format.  Each figure in the original document
corresponds to one GIF file (FIGXX.GIF where XX is the figure number). The
document is also available in HTML format to preserve its original format as
much as possible.
