This directory contains the original instrument description and initial 
observations paper. This file is available in ASCII. Figures and tables
referenced in the document is available in GIF format.  Each figure/table
in the original document corresponds to one GIF file (FIGXX.GIF or TABXX.GIF
where XX is the figure number). The document is also available in HTML format
to preserve its original format as much as possible.
