The DATA directory contains the MARIE data.  Two data sets are                
represented on this volume:  raw, reformatted data (REDR) and                 
calibrated data (RDR).  The subdirectories of the DATA directory              
are:                                                                          
                                                                              
  RAW_DATA    Contains the raw data, organized into one-month                 
              subdirectories.                                                 
                                                                              
  REDUCED     Contains the calibrated data, organized into                    
              one-month subdirectories.                                       
                                                                              
  ANCIL       Contains the ancillary data (actually part of                   
              the raw data set), organized into one subdirectory              
              for each of four ancillary data types, and into                 
              one-month subdirectories within each data type                  
              subdirectory.                                                   
                                                                              
Please note that the raw and reduced data files have different                
file naming conventions.  Further information on these data sets,             
and on the file naming conventions in particular, can be found                
in the INFO.TXT file in each of the three main subdirectories.                
                                                                              
In addition to the data files, this disk contains documentation files         
which describe the data sets on the disk, the instrument from which the       
data came, and the Mars Odyssey spacecraft and mission. These files are       
found in the CATALOG and DOCUMENT directories, and are described in           
the files CATALOG/CATINFO.TXT and DOCUMENT/DOCINFO.TXT.
