                  BROWSE/EBF Directory Contents                               
                                                                              
The EBF subdirectory of the BROWSE directory contains a system of             
images and related files that provides a simple method for browsing           
through the NEAR MAG archive.  The images are in PDF format.  The             
system is designed to be viewable by many WWW browsers.                       
                                                                              
The EBF directory has a structure identical to the DATA directory             
on this CD.  Each subdirectory contains plots of NEAR MAG data in             
the Eros Body Fixed (EBF) coordinate systems.  The EBF coordinate             
system has its Z-axis along the Eros spin axis; the X-axis is in              
the Eros equatorial plane, and lies in the direction of the prime             
meridian. The Y-axis completes the right-handed set.  Data used for           
the plots are the same as those provided in ASCII format in this              
data set.
