Overview

The Lunar Prospector spacecraft trajectory data set consists of spacecraft position determinations in numerous coordinate systems at one minute intervals. The data set also contains the spacecraft velocity as a function of time. Each file in the data set covers one month of time. Trajectory data reside in the GEOMETRY/TRAJECT subdirectory on this disk.

The columns in the trajectory files are described in the format file POS_TAB.FMT. For further information on the trajectory data set, please refer to the TRAJ_DS.CAT file in the CATALOG directory.
