For the latest version of this ERRATA.TXT file use the anonymous-ftp service
at ftp.igpp.ucla.edu (ftp 128.97.68.41).  The account name is anonymous
and the password should be your e-mail address (it's nice to leave an audit
trial). Change to the PDS errata directory (cd pds/ERRATA/GOMA_10XX), and
transfer the file ERRATA.TXT (get ERRATA.TXT).

Problems and changes with the PPR_100X Volumes:

The data format file name was changed from PPRR_EDR.FMT to PPRDATA.FMT.  All
labels have been adjusted to this change.

All known spelling errors have been fixed.

In /VOLDESC.CAT: 

  VOLUME_SERIES_NAME has been changed from "GALILEO PHOTOPOLARIMETER (PPR)" to
  "MISSION TO JUPITER".

  VOLUME_SET_NAME has been changed from
  "GALILEO PPR: CHECKOUT THROUGH EARTH 2"
  to "GALILEO: PRE-JUPITER PHOTOPOLARIMETER DATA RECORD".

    More information was added to the DATA_SUPPLIER object.

The original two volumes of this set contained data only through Earth 2.
Data from the Ida and SL/9 encounters have now been included on the first
volume.  The AAREADME.TXT has ben altered to reflect this.

In directories below the root, files of the name AAREADME.* have been changed
to INFO.*.

Publication date has been filled in where appropriate.

^STRUCTURE pointer has been added to /INDEX/INDEX.FMT.

"DATA_OBJECT_TYPE = TABLE" has been added to all dataset description templates
(/CATALOG/*DS.CAT)

In Label files associated with Data files, the START_TIME and STOP_TIME
changed to a 4-digit year.  INSTRUMENT_NAME was changed from PHOTOPOLARIMETER
to "PHOTOPOLARIMETER RADIOMETER".

In /DATA/*/INFO.TXT, the full name of each data column was added to the column
descriptions.

A more detailed description of the /DOCUMENT directory was added to the
AAREADME.TXT

Reference IDs have been adjusted to match standards
(HUNTEN1986 -> HUNTENETAL1986)

The /INDEX/INDEX.FMT has been changed to give all descriptions on all file
types and START_BYTE and BYTES objects now have proper values.

In the data format file PPRDATA.FMT, the keyword FORMAT was added for each
column and the values for UNIT where made to comply with PDS standards.

Information regarding flag values has been placed in /DATA/*/PPRRDR.FMT and
/DATA/*/INFO.TXT files

For all dataset descriptions (/DOCUMENT/*DS.CAT), information regarding
instrument calibration has been added.
