This directory contains a document that describes the Star Scanner instrument 
and how it can be used to to measure eclectron fluxes  The document is stored 
in ASCII text (PF_THESIS.ASC), HTML (PF_THESIS.HTM), and Adobe PDF            
(PF_THESIS.PDF).  Also included are figures from the original instrument      
paper, stored in PNG image format.
