PDS_VERSION_ID = PDS3 RECORD_TYPE = STREAM OBJECT = TEXT PUBLICATION_DATE = 2004-02-01 NOTE = "Text describes the directory contents." END_OBJECT = TEXT END This directory contains Galileo spacecraft trajectory data in various coordinate systems. SATELLITES: Trajectory data during flybys at 20-second resolution. Data divided by the satellite Galileo was passing during the flyby and are provided in "satellite-centric" coordinates. See GO_POS_SC_MOONCRDS_DS.CAT (/CATALOG directory) for details. SURVEY: Trajectory data during orbits at a variable resolution (generally 10-30 minutes) in several Jupiter centered coordinate systems. See GO_POS_SC_JUPCRDS_DS.CAT (/CATALOG directory) for details. There are other data sets of interest in the /GEOMETRY subdirectories: GO-J-POS-6-MOON-TRAJ-JUP-CRDS-V1.0 contains the locations of the Galilean satellite and the Galileo in System III (1965.0) coordinates, plus the Sun and Earth phase angles of all bodies when Galileo was inside of 30 Rj. See GO_POS_MOONS_JUPCRDS_DS.CAT (/CATALOG) for details. GO-J-POS-6-ROTORATTITUDE-V1.1 contains the Galileo rotor (spinning part of the spacecraft) attitude (RA, DEC, TWIST) as a function of time. See GO_ATT_DS.CAT (/CATALOG) for details.
