The data from the Galileo magnetometer (MAG) is stored in various sub-directories according to the coordinate system of the data and the level of processing of the data. The data has been organized in to day files where each file consists of one day's worth of data. The file names are given by the date of aquisition of the data. The first digit in each file name is the letter T for time. The second and third digit correspond to the year the data was aquired, the fourth and fifth digit to the month and the sixth and seventh digit to the day. For example the file called T901108 would correspond to data taken on November 08, 1990. The following directory tree shows the location of the various data file types with a brief explanation of the file contents.
