In addition to the Magnetometer (MAG), Electron Reflectometer (ER), and ancillary data files, this disk contains browse plots which summarize some of the MAG and ER data. These plots are PostScript files, and are contained in the BROWSE directory.
There are two types of browse files, each with its own subdirectory:
The naming convention for the RMS browse files is illustrated by the following example. (The file mentioned here is only an example; there are many such files on the disk.)
06130.PS is interpreted as
06 = year 2006
130 = day of year 130 (where Jan. 1 = day of year 001)
PS = file in PostScript format.
The Magnetometer calibration plots, and their naming conventions, are explained in the text document INFO.TXT in the MAG_CAL subdirectory.
