ROSES 2006 Cassini Data Availability

Data from launch through 6 April 2005 are available through PDS by the Roses 2006 cut-off date of 23 Jan 2006. The figures below contain detail information describing the anticipated data coverage. The tables show which data that are currently publicly available are eligible for ROSES 2006.

Fields and particles data may be accessed directly at the PDS's Planetary Plasma Interactions (PPI) Node. Direct links to individual instrument data is provided in the following table:

Below are 3 images showing the Cassini (Saturn) Tour trajectory. The first shows the full Tour. The second excludes the rev. "0" to show more detail of the other orbits. The third shows data currently available, with ROSES 2006 eligible orbits in green.

The following table contains parameters for the Cassini Tour orbits that are available through PDS. The latter orbits in red, cannot be used for ROSES 2006. The table includes position information for the start of the orbit (which is approximately at apoapsis), and periapsis. The orbit stop time is also given, though no position information is given as these times correspond to the start time of the subsequent orbit.

3 Orbits are indicated as available if orbit periapsis falls within the interval to be delivered

The following table contains Cassini Tour satellite flyby parameters for the satellite flybys that are available (green) through PDS as of the ROSES 2006 cut-off date. Flybys in red are not available for ROSES. This table contains only "targeted" flybys, as defined by the Cassini project.
